Unless outlined in the Constitution or any other related agreement, the most conventional way of becoming a member of a CLG is to make an application to the Company. This is usually a letter from the potential member to the CLG which is then usually approved at a Board meeting. During the Board Meeting the Secretary would usually be instructed to update the Register of Members for this new appointment. To flag also, it would be common that a resigning member would also issue a letter stating such that the company keeps on file.

Just to note if the company increases its membership above the number in their Constitution they must notify the CRO on a Form B9.
